Marvel x Dc comics projects

My friend has showed me this blog of someone doing these high heels and it looks soooooooooo cool and looks so fun!!!! It's like a collage with marvel and dc comics characters. I'm not a huge fan of superheroes but they actually look super cool. But I've lost the link to it :(
A while ago it was my friend's 21st birthday and she's like a crazy fan of marvel and dc comics but she doesn't wear high heels so I had an idea! Phone case! And she's like a photographer so... Photo frame! And when I was buying the stuff I saw a notebook and thought... Might as well!

So here it starts! My first project!
Marvel X DC comics phone case

A wee before photo. Captain America! Cat Woman! (She's the black long thing next to Captain America by the way) and Wonder Woman at the side =)

iPhone 3GS phone case ^^

Was hard, the comics didn't have much tiny people and tiny heads on it... And when I do find them it take sooooo long to cut out >< need to be careful or else someone will lose an arm or leg haha.

If I do this again, I need to remember not to make the inside so thick (with paper and glue), hard to take phone back out. XD

My second project was.... A notebook!!! ^^

This was really easy to do. Well kinda. Since this surface area was a lot bigger than the phone case, I can cut out bigger faces and bodies... but then there was too much!!! So many choices, I didn't  know what one to pick, where should they go... 

Then this was the last of the Marvel x Dc collection for my friend. A photo frame. For my favourite photographer.

The before photos~~ 

The one on the right, I was thinking how can I fit all the characters cause the photo frame had a silver inner part but I decide to cover it up cause in the end I'll need to seal everything and it might not look good after all the glue layered on top. And then at the side as well, should I cover it as well? But that means high chance I'll still all the body of the character on the side and their heads on the top. And then I thought of an idea, I used the speech bubbles in the comics and put them all at the side, and loved the idea. Which you can see a wee bit on the left photo. So after a couple of super heroes, I went and covered the sides with speech bubbles, was fun reading them as well ^_^  Then I continue to put the super heroes (and villains) on the top. And I purposely made a bit of their feet or body to hang over a wee bit on top of the speech bubbles.

I made all the characters facing outwards... so means my lovely photographer friend  can use it portrait or landscape. And basically what ever way she wants, since it won't look up side down. =D

Marvel x DC photo frame finish!!!

I really love this, out of the three, I like this photo frame the most. Really love it's half text half pictures look. I can't wait till my friend puts a photo in!!! So excited! ^^

All three took me roughly 30hours, excluding drying time. Cutting out the characters was most time consuming and most difficult I think. Of course putting them altogether was the best. Most dullest part I guess was the sealing everything in. At first it didn't feel much, was just applying glue all over them. But see after like the 3rd coat, it actually felt horrible... I put like about 5 coats of glue on them and had to wait for each coat to dry. And because all of them I couldn't put glue all at once, the phone case I had to put glue in the outside and the inside because I wrapped a bit of comics in as well. And the notebook, well kinda obvious, need to wait till one side completely dry then I can do the other side or else it will be glued to the newspaper. And the photo frame, I had to put a bit of glue inside as well. I didn't think this would be really messy, I mean, just cutting paper, binning the parts I don't need and glue. But I don't know why lots of tiny wee bits keep falling to the floor and when I was finished every time there was always wee bits of paper to pick up. 

But overall, I LOVE DOING THIS!!! Was really fun. And seeing my friends face when she saw these was AMAZING!!! So HAPPY she loves her presents! ^_^ And she uses the phone case everyday now! 

I would love to do something similar to this again, I still have lots of characters I cut out and not used XP

And I want something for my self as well. Hehe~xxx

Vans x Hello Kitty

Ever since seeing my friend having these, I was like.... AH!!!! I NEED A PAIR!!!!! It's a must-buy if you are a hello kitty fan.
There's an Adidas one that's quite similar that I wanted like 2 years ago, glossy patent black with a big red bow at the top of the laces. Was quite expensive so never bought them.
I saw these, was more affordable for me so I got them. And there's like loads of hello kitty faces all over the back and sides of the vans!!! So cute!!! And you can change wherever the bow sits on the laces. Have a slight obsession with bows so these are awesome!
Being a student is great, got 20% off so even better hehe! ^^
First day wearing them today, quite comfy. Quite warm as well, don't think I'll be wearing them a lot in the summer, but winter is coming up! But it's not waterproof so hopefully it wont rain that much ><

Unfair

No gift voucher customer... WIT?!?

Customer with problem left, 5mins later her daughter in law phoned and had a big argument with me. Customer have lost her gift voucher and still want me to serve her. We said we can't do it without paying if she doesn't have the gift voucher with her. So her daughter in law was saying she definitely came on 19th April to buy a £20 gift voucher. But but?!? That's not even proof right? Just cause she said it? Can't prove it was definitely 19th April, and it was definitely £20. And we check records only a £5 gift voucher was bought on 19th April... T.T Was busy so I said I'll tell my manager to phone her back. So what the hell are we suppose to say to her? She either wants service or money back.

Japanese Supermarket, yeah!

After my lovely dinner at Mitsukoshi Restaurant, we went next door to the Japanese supermarket to do some nosy-ing and see if we can find some nice snacks hehehehe!

Bought snacks, tea, wee cute sake and a super cute cup! 

Wee sake is more for display than for drinking. My dad have this glass cabinet which is filled with the cutest wee shot glasses and wine samples etc. So we bought the wee sake to add to the collection ^^.

Yeah green tea! Anyone who like green tea should try this, it's brown rice tea. Its really nice. hehe! Can't really describe the taste but the taste... a bit like green tea feeling I guess haha =)

These were for myself and for friends. Sweeties!!! Apparently the sweets are very nice ;-) So whoever reads this and see them in a shop, then stock up hehe!! ^^

Seaweed crackers, one of my favourite snacks. Was like buy one get one half price I think, or something like that so bought two packets! One for myself and one for friend as a souvenir hehe! ^^ They are really nice as well by the way ;-) 

Hehe!!! MY NEW CUP!!!! One for myself and one for souvenir for my lovely friend. 

This cup is like the cutest thing ever!!!!! Put it upside down then it's a lucky cat sitting up, and when you use it, the cat goes upside down!!! ITS SOOOO CUTE!!!!! 

Yes, I know we just ate like 10minutes ago, but omg!! Look!!! Tataki Beef! Omg! All those beef loving people, YOU MUST TRY!!! It's like super yummy!! ^^ 

Assorted Sashimi-Yummy!

Tuna, Salmon, Squid, Octopus, Scallops, and some other fish... Don't know why the box doesn't tell you whats in the box. I'm not a big fan of raw scallop, taste... eugh ><... 

The rest was nice.

So weird, we had to pay like 10p for a chopstick. Or we could be pure horrible and use our hands haha. 

Well hotel had teaspoons but would just be pure awkward haha.

It had a sign that says bento and sushi boxes get free chopsticks. I was like to the cashier, don't we get chopsticks? and she was like it's only for bento and sushi boxes. Totally don't get it. You can eat sushi with your hands... but how do you expect customers to eat the bento and sashimi boxes.... I know it's just 10p, which we didn't mind at the point, but still!!! It's like forcing people to buy chopsticks just to eat sashimi... =(

My extremely super amazing lunch

Well... My lunch? It was like the best... Money worth as well. Even though mines was the most expensive but I had quite a few things and it looked really nice as well.

Damn, need to practice more with my camera... so blurry at the back and miso soup so focused...But doesn't matter, I did take close up photos for all the wee dishes I got ^^

De Luxe Lunch Set

Miyabi

Sashimi, sautéd beef fillet served with a sizzling hot "Teriyaki" sauce and side salad  

Served with rice, miso soup, pickles and fruit

WOW! look at that... It's so cute! ^^ a wee dish for sashimi. Salmon, Tuna and something I'm not sure but it was really nice, so hopefully it's not some sort of creepy fish haha. 

Then of course, one of the most important food in Japanese cuisine, rice!!!!!!! 

Includes a wee dish of pickles. The pink one is pickled ginger, best pickled ginger I've ever eaten! I normally just eat like one or two slices and that's it but this one is yummy! ^^..... the green one doesn't taste nice though =(

AND!! FRUIT!! hehe! a wee plate of fruit as well. Orange, pineapple and kiwi! Fruit was nice and sweet. So cute! ^^

Miso Soup! ^^.... If I knew I'm getting miso soup I probably wouldn't order the green tea... Didn't really like their green tea :/

Side salad! =D Was nice. The wee crispy thing at the top was nice. Not sure what it's called... Its like cut into slices but there's like lots of wee holes in it. Some sort of veg.

IT WAS EXTREMELY SUPER INCREDIBLY YUMMY!!!!

Highly recommend =D

Only bad thing about this is probably the baby sweetcorn and the courgette, cause I don't like to eat them haha. But the tomato and the mushroom was nice! ^^

I can say I enjoyed this amazing lunch. Haven't had lunch this awesome in a while. It was a bit pricey but it's not like I go often, so I guess it's alright for a wee treat ;-)

Ta-dah! Lunch course of the month in Mitsukoshi Restaurant! You get to choose from three things in the starter, main and DESSERT!...My dad selected the...

SASHIMI!!!! for a starter. OMG!!! Look how big that plate was, I swear it was MASSIVE!!
Well, anyways, you get three types of fish, salmon, tuna and the other one I'm not too sure, prob seabass or something like that, but they were very yummy according to my dad. Nice and fresh! =)

Last picture I was talking about the starter sashimi, well this was the main. The bowl was like seriously big! :O looks quite cool though, hehe ^^

At first we were like what is that? Can totally tell we don't eat japanese food much, we ordered the beef and we were like wheres the beef? Expecting bits of beef lying on the plate. Turns out its like a pasta sauce kinda thing, the beef is like minced into the sauce. The two big white balls is called radish i think? Some sort of veg anyways. This taste really nice, good to mix in or eat with your rice! :D 

Last but not least...DESSERT!!! 

 It arrived on the table like this... oh! so secretive!!.... and see that wee brown stick thing on the leaf? Well it works as some sort of peg... and you pull it off.. then WOW!!

STRAWBERRY AND CHERRY BLOSSOM ICE CREAM

It was amazing!!! Since my dad was not a big fan of desserts, I "helped" him pick this lovely ice cream and.. ate it! woohoo!! Did a great choice. Taste amazing!! Jelly + ice cream is nice. and it have the wee fruits to help it look all pretty. They give you a big wooden spoons... after like 3 scoops, it was finished

Weather

Good weather today. Very sunny but the temperature isn't too hot, just the way I like it ^^ Can be outside in the sunny weather without needing to be all sweaty after an hour. Just want to sit outside and eat ice cream..... But sadly I have to be stuck inside working today!!!! Want a day off =[

London London London

Been really busy with college work lately... So haven't wrote anything in ages!!... so sad :(

Well I should be doing college stuff, but I'm tried and I feel like coming onto blogger for a wee walk. haha.

Anyway, title of this post is london london london... hm, I wonder what I will write about =p
I went to london on 23rd, 24th, 25th April last month, was great fun!! 3 days and 2 night, wish it was longer though. A wee break from home haha. Well, I done loads of stuff, was so tired and actually slept like all day when I came back home.

First day there I went to this amazing Japanese restaurant, Mitsukoshi

for a late lunch/early dinner. Highly recommend if you like japanese food. Its sooooo yummy!!! It's a bit pricey though, but worth it. It's at

Highlight of the day was going to one of my favourite singer's concert in the o2 arena!! EASON CHAN!! "who the hell is eason chan?" google it =p 

The second day I went to HARRY POTTER STUDIOS!!!! IF YOU ARE A HARRY POTTER FAN YOU MUST GO!!!!!!!!

Then it was just eat and eat and eat and a bit of shopping for the night and the next day.

Well, I want to do this post cause I want to show the lovely pics I took in London, mostly want to show photos of food. I LOVE FOOD! well ones that taste nice haha. So here goes! :D

Oh! And just a few days I went to London I bought myself a new camera.... Canon DSLR 550D... It looks very sexy ;) My wee boy haha... I kinda sound like a peedo now, calling my wee boy sexy hahaha.

Jealous of my dog

It's like 2am and I'm still up trying to finish up my essays due for tomorrow morning. Yes yes I know it's kinda leaving it to last minute, but I've taken a day off work, starting to finish up all the things for college tomoz.... There's just not enough time!!!! Ah!!!!
